Masamo Catfish is a native of the African catfish. This catfish is growth well because it can harvest in a short time that is 2 months. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of a combination of earthworm flour and golden snail flour with a different percentage of the masamo catfish growth. This study was
conducted on February 20, 2014 until March 21, 2014 at the Faculty of Fisheries Aquaculture Laboratory University of Pekalongan. The method used was a laboratory-scale research. Using experimental design completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 3 replications differences treatment in the percentage of earthworms flour and golden snail flour : Treatment A: 100% earthworm flour, Treatment B: 75% earthworm flour + 25% golden snail flour, treatment C: 50% earthworm flour + 50% golden snail flour, treatment D: 25% earthworm flour + 75% golden snail flour, and treatment E: 100% golden snail flour, all treatments are given according to the weight of masamo catfish seed biomass Research results gained by giving a combination of feed earthworms flour and golden snail flour with different percentage highly significant effect on the growth of masamo catfish seed as calculated F (37.98)> F table (3.48). Highest weight gain increase in treatment D was 8.73 g, followed by treatment E of 6.10 g, and the next sequence of treatment C with 4.81 g, treatment B with 3.37 g, and the lowest was in treatment A with 1,87 g.
Water quality during the study is still in the normal range for growth of masamo catfish seed which tempratur around 28ºC, pH 7.5, and DO 5.1 ppm.
