The language used to communicate mennghasilkan speech. Speech utterances can be either oral or written speech. Communication with good language and manners make people can adjust to the environment. With the language anyway, anyone can learn the habits of cultural customs, as well as the backgrounds of participants each community, for example, in a political organization in which every language used affects all policies and strategies relating to the ideological, political, economic, social, and cultures are easily communicated to citizens. This inspired researchers to investigate the politeness principle political figures in Indonesia lawyear show that aired on TV One.

The approach in this study is two theoretical approaches and methodological approach. The data in this study is an oral utterance of political leaders in Indonesia lawyear show on TV One. Having obtained the data and then the data is classified according to the study. Sources of data in this study of oral utterances of political leaders in Indonesia show that aired on TV lawyear one. Data collection was performed by the method of recording and record. Data analysis method used is informal and formal methods.
The results of the analysis in the political figure speech in Indonesian lawyear, there complience maxim and violation maxim of the mosesty principle3 that is considerete, generous, pleased, humility, consentes and simpathyc.
Based on these results, there are some suggestions that should be considered include (1) further research related to speech of political leaders in Indonesia lawyear in the TV show One should be studied in order to better adherence to the principles of politeness remain on hold and (2) the results of research this is expected to be used as a reference for further research, particularly in relation to pragmatic politeness principle relating to the violation of the principle of modesty.
