SIGIT PRAYOGO, Description of Extrinsic Motivation on Performance of Civil Servants in Puskesmas Kusuma Bangsa Pekalongan

This study was to describe extrinsic motivation and the influence on the performance of the Civil Servants in Kusuma Bangsa Community Health Centers Pekalongan. This study also be one of a small introspective act toward decrease the number of patient visits since the year of 2012 . The population in this study were 37 servants civil of Kusuma Bangsa Community Health Centers. The sample or the respondent of this research is 100 % of the total population. This is a descriptive research. Instruments which is used in this research were questionnaire and checklist. Data collected by both of instruments and then analyzed using SPSS in order to get value ratio, percentage, proportion and extrinsic motivation of civil servants description. Based on data analysis known that extrinsic motivation with the aspect of rewards in the form of social security has the greatest influence that is equal to 143 points than the others. In the aspect of the challenge, faced with emergency situations in the work is the greatest influence on the performance of civil servants that is equal to 138 points. Then on the aspect of self development opportunities, the career path related to tenure and educational background equal to 167 points. The latter, the aspects of participation in activities, a good cooperation in the work atmosphere conducive greatest influence than others in this aspect that is equal to 158 points. Therefore, institutions are expected to provide stimulation for improvement on existing conditions.
