Hospital prioritize business, profits, fulfillment logistics, human resources, developing new types of services compared to health and safety.
The general objective of this research is to gain an overview on the use of Personal Protective Equipment in the Hospital laundry workers QIM Batang. And objectives in particular want to know the type and number of APD, APD usability, enabling and inhibiting the use of PPE, as well as health complaints.
Types in this study is descriptive evaluation using an approach that aims to learn about the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to workers in the laundry section QIM Batang Hospital in 2013.
Research results that researchers get at the hospital QIM batang have PPE pretty good but the type and amount has not been in accordance with the standard and number of employees. Research that has been conducted in accordance with the discussion relating to the type and amount of PPE, usability, as well as supporting and perceived health complaints by workers ..
From the research that has been done, the authors provide suggestions for the security and safety of laundry workers, hospitals need to multiply the number of APD and increase the number of workers especially in the laundry installation Hospital QIM Batang that security and safety officers in the laundry work guaranteed and jobs can be completed quickly because plus a number of officers.
