Background: Job stress which may occur due to excessive workload on employees outpatient General Hospital Kraton Pekalongan, performasi likely impact on work, fatigue, emotional instability, thus enabling a less than satisfactory service, negligence in carrying out the work.
Objectives and methods: This study aimed to determine the relationship of workload with stress employee at the General Hospital Kraton Pekalongan using cross sectional research design, this study is a quantitative analytical research, this study is the population at the outpatient unit clerks General Hospital Kraton area Pekalongan regency, sampling with a total number of 45 people.
Results: The results of analysis of the relationship between workload with employee stress in the outpatient unit of the General Hospital of Kraton Pekalongan which can be seen the results obtained chi square value ρ = 0.003
