Local government clinic is the unit subject of health technical in a regency/city.its responsibility is to build up the health in its work area.local government clinic is a health service media to the society,so the local government clinic officer has an important role to raise the quality of the loc al government clinic it self.The local government clinic officer have to do their duty well.It can arouse any different perception about work capacity that can be affecting to the quality of the local government clinic officer.
This research is to know about the relationship between the work capacity perception and officer's work ability in the local government clinic of pekalngan regency.This research used explanatory survey with cross sectional approach by questionnaire interview to the 75 person of local government clinic officers.The data analysis used univariat analysis and bivariat chi square analysis.
The result of the research showed the work capacity perception variable is 8,0% correspondence has a low perception of work capacity,92% correspondence has enough perception of work capacity.Besides,in the officer's variable ,there is 6,7% has enough work ability,and 93,3% has good work ability.
There are relation between work capacity and work ability(p 0,000) with CC value 0,519
This research concluded that the local government clinic officer in pekalongan regency has good work ability with enough perception of work capacity. And hoped for the local government to keep the work environment to maintain the motivation of clinic officer in the work.
