The Government launched the jampersal programme in an effort to reduce maternal mortality. This type of research is research observasionalkarena researchers do not perform the treatment of samples. The research method used is cross sectional with a population of 120 village midwives, whereas the sample totaled 48 village midwives. Data retrieval with interview techniques by using the questionnaire contains a list of questions about the perception of 48, then secondary data retrieval book jampersal that participants in the KIA claims by 48 village midwives within the last 3 months are February, March, and april. Data analysis techniques using formula spearman rangk. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of the village midwives ' perceptions about the program jampersal to the performance of the midwife.
Of the 48 respondents obtained 9 respondents (18.8%), have the perception that unfavourable, 22 respondents (45.8%) have a pretty good perception, and 17 respondents (35.4%) have a good perception, as much as 15 (31,25%) midwives had a fairly good performance, 33 respondents (68,75%) midwives have good performance. Results of the analysis show the Perception associated with the performance of midwives, it is pointed out the significance of the values of spearman rank correlations of 0.003 < 0.05. The relationship between the perception of the performance of the fall into the category of high enough, this is indicated by the value of the correlation coefficient between 0.415 0.400 0.500-which is a range of criteria is quite high.
