The research aims to determine the optimum concentration of coconut water and the dosage of guano fertilizer and interaction to increase cocoa seed germination and growth. The research was conducted in Sangkanjoyo village, Kajen subdistrict, Pekalongan, from April until June 2012. The experimental design used was RBD. The first factor concentration of coconut water consists of 3 levels, 0, 50, and 100%. The second factor dosage of guano fertilizer consists of 3 levels, 0, 25, and 50 g/polybag. Observed variables include : germination rate, germination percentage, plant height, number of leaves perplant, leaf area per plant, stem diameter, plant fresh weight, longest root length, number of secondary roots, and root dry weight. The result showed concentration of coconut water gave highly significant influence on all observed variables with positive linear form, except for germination percentage. Application of coconut water up to 100% concentration attain improvement on germination and growth of cacao seed. Dosage of guano fertilizer gave highly significant influence for all observed variables, except for germination percentage. The best germination and growth of cocoa seed obtained at a dose of 50 g/polybag. There was interaction between concentration of coconut water with dosage of guano fertilizer for plant height and number of secondary roots, the best combination at concentration of 100% coconut water and guano fertilizer 50 g/polybag.
