Ecotourism is a form of a special tour that is a responsible traveling of nature tourism by conserving
the environment and improving the welfare of local communities. Three perspectives of ecotourism first,
ecotourism as a means of attraction products based on natural resources, second, ecotourism as a
market, a trip aimed at environmental conservation, third,it is as approaches to development,
approaches, using and managing source of friendly environmental tourism.
Pekalongan is a fishing town that has a Fish Landing Ports (PPI) and the Fish Auction Place (TPI), the
largest in Central Java. Fishery Port Nusantara Pekalongan (PPNP) also manages the Marine Tourism
Object which is located adjacent to Golden Sand attractions. The both object are natural tourist
attractions. The facilities available in Marine Tourism, such as marine aquarium fish and a playground
and fishing spots. Other attractions surrounding the Golden Sand Beach is a pond fish farms, fish
processing industry that is traditionally boiled fish processing, processing of salted fish, fogging and
freezing of fish, if the potential of fisheries sector is managed conscientiously and professionally with
due regard to environmental hygiene (hygiene and sanitation), it will support the development of
ecotourism Pekalongan.
