Pekalongan in length 10,5 km and width 4 mil needs development in ecotourism sector. It can be seen from the resources. Pekalongan Subregion has a potential especially in the sea tourism sectors as; fish pool, trading fish areas, mangrove tourism objects, water recreation centre, etc. Some strategies that can be done to develop ecotourism sectors in Pekalongan are local citizenship-based activities, object diversification, government commitment, facilities, investors’ involvement, academics involvement, socialization and promotion.
